Workshops

Our workshop program offers Carpentries curriculum and robust training in R, Python, and data science fundamentals, covering everything from data wrangling and visualization to text analysis and applications of Gen AI in research and coding. We typically offer the official Carpentries sequence in the fall quarter and offer shorter, more-focused workshops throughout the regular academic quarters. All workshops are hands-on, creating a supportive learning environment where participants can develop practical skills they can immediately apply to their research. We also offer follow-up office hours and consultation services to help researchers continue building their computational skills beyond the workshops.
